Nanaimo born Jenna LaFleche is a graduate of the Canadian College of Massage Therapy and is registered in good standing with the CMTBC. Currently living in Victoria, BC, she began her massage therapy education in 2009 while studying abroad in Munich, Germany at the Staatliche Berufsfachschule für Massage am Klinikum Großhadern.
This unique experience has given her an immersive education in the science and art of therapeutic massage. In both Canada and in Europe she has had the oppourtunity to work with many different people from all walks of life to help her better understand the healing process and to further develop her skills in the nature of pain management, manual therapy, connective tissue therapy, and therapeutic exercise.
Jenna has expanded her knowledge and skillset in
completing Level 3 of the Dr. Vodder Method of Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) in 2019. She offers custom compression garment fitting and local resources to better aid her patients who are managing Post-surgical swelling, Lymphedema, Lipedema and Venous Insufficiency.
In 2021 Jenna has accepted a position to serve on the Board of Directors of the BC Lymphedema Association (BCLA - www.bclymph.org), a non-profit organization that lobbies to help further support this demographic by raising awareness, serving on the fundraising and medical advisory committees by providing education on patient self-management.
The most fundamental aspects to Jenna, with regard to massage therapy, is understanding body awareness and the crucial effect that awareness has on our perception of pain, our mobility and in turn, our day-to-day quality of life. Providing patients with the resources to learn self-management tools (through exercise, self-massage and home care), and by providing a safe, non-judgemental space for relaxation and healing is of utmost importance to her practice.
Jenna plans to continue expanding her skillset through continuing education by keeping up with the latest research in the field of massage and manual therapy. She has a specific interest in a biopsychosocial approach to managing pain and in reframing Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Scar tissue mobilization & desensitization, Thai/Yoga massage, Lomi-Lomi, Connective Tissue Therapy (German: “Bindegewebstherapie”), Fascial Manipulation, Dermoneuromodulation (DNM) and Craniosacral therapy through an evidence-based and patient-centered lens.

Declynn grew up in the small town of Qualicum Beach and fell in love with how massage therapy blends intuition with scientific critical thinking. She attended the West Coast College of Massage Therapy and enjoyed it so much that she decided to continue her education at the University of Victoria in addition to developing her massage therapy practice. In 2022 she received her Bachelor of Science (Honours), with a concentration in Neuroscience, and decided to join the great team at Right Fit Clinic!
This love of learning and critical thinking has created a practitioner who values working cooperatively with her patients to help them achieve their health goals. Declynn sees a varied clientele and enthusiastically supports them addressing stress management, chronic pain, pre/post-natal care, and occupational injuries.
She also has a special interest in supporting woman’s health and oncology patients. She has taken specific training in post-mastectomy and scar tissue massage to ensure her patients receive the highest level of care. Declynn works hard to keep up to date on scientific literature regarding the safety and efficacy of massage therapy and always looks for ways to expand her knowledge base.
In 2024 Declynn has completed her continued education in Dr. Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage Level 3. She can support patients with lymphedema, lipedema, venous insufficiency edema, as well as those with post-surgical and orthopaedic concerns.
Declynn enjoys introducing patients to a gentler style of massage and uses a combination of deep tissue work, relaxation techniques and a balanced home care prescription to support patients in their health journey. She is very creative and loves coming up with exercises that suit the patient in front of her and helps them reach their goals without overwhelming them.
When Declynn isn’t out in her garden or buried in books she works as a clinical supervisor at WCCMT enjoys sharing her knowledge with the newest generation of RMTs.

Born in Invermere, B.C., Shuna has had the unique experience of living on both coasts of Canada before settling in Victoria. Growing up in a family that loved to travel and explore, Shuna developed an early appreciation for diverse environments and cultures, which has enriched her approach to massage therapy.
Shuna's innate understanding of the human body led her to pursue her passion at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, where she graduated in 2005. Her career as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) has been shaped not only by her professional training but also by her personal journey with chronic pain. This experience has fueled her interest in pain research, particularly its neurobiological aspects, and has given her a dual perspective as both a long-term patient and a healthcare professional.
Focusing in chronic pain and complex illness management, Shuna is dedicated to helping her patients improve their quality of life. She believes in the profound impact that a combination of lived experience and specialized knowledge can have on managing health.
Shuna utilizes a trauma-informed approach in her practice, welcoming patients dealing with the aftermath of motor vehicle accidents, high anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions.
As a mother of two, Shuna is particularly attuned to the needs of children and adolescents. She recognizes that pain, anxiety, and stress are often overlooked in younger populations and is passionate about ensuring that all her patients, regardless of age, are heard and their health goals addressed.
Shuna is excited to join the team at Right Fit Clinic and looks forward to partnering with her patients on their journey to achieving their health and wellness goals.

Heather completed her Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture training at Pacific Rim College in 2012 and has been practicing in Victoria ever since. For over 7 years she was honing her ability to support overall health and musculoskeletal injury recovery, successfully treating a range of ailments from muscle sprain/strain, chronic pain, MVA recovery, insomnia, migraines and headaches, digestive health and hormonal regulation.
It's not just about a lack of pain, but a strong return to function. TCM and acupuncture are uniquely positioned to support holistic inclusivity for all aspects of self within the definition of health and vitality due to bridging the energetic, physical and spiritual elements of healing.
Moving into the complexities of physical, mental and emotional needs has been a focus for Heather as she deepened her exploration of chronic pain and what supports a complete recovery from trauma or life altering events. Engaging with how mental health impacts our overall wellbeing has been an area of study and examination that she has cultivated over time in order to better support and address the needs of her clients.
This led to the completion of a 2 year certification program and Heather is now a licensed Dynamic Emotional Integration Trainer and Consultant; increasing emotional integration within herself has eliminated all doubt regarding the necessity of the inclusion of this element within her practice. For more information on this crucial emotion work, and to see if it's right for you, please go to www.sosensitive.ca
In 2023 Heather has committed to learning the Dr. Vodder method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage and has completed Level 2 (General Wellness, Orthopaedic & Plastic Surgery).
Heather uses various TCM modalities in addition to acupuncture to restore range of motion, decrease pain, increase functional ability and healing in times of injury. Cupping, gua sha, electrical stimulation and herbal liniments are utilized along with breathing techniques and other exercises for restoring overall health and function over a course of treatments.
Other professional development courses through the years have ranged from Inherited Family Trauma work with Mark Wolynn, scalp acupuncture, the NADA addiction protocol and advanced orthopaedic acupuncture.
Getting clients back to lives full of vitality and capacity, whatever that looks like to each individual, is at the core of Heather's approach to her practice.

Diego Such and is a registered Kinesiologist and a certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist. He grew up in the Comox Valley for the majority of his life before moving to Victoria to pursue high-performance sports and a kinesiology degree. Due to living on the North Island for the majority of his life, he has a great passion for staying active and doing as much outdoor activity as possible.
While his time in Victoria has been relatively short he has had the honour of being able to represent Team BC for the sport of Olympic Weightlifting the past three years in a row all while maintaining a near-perfect GPA during his attendance Camosun College.
Due to his high level of academic and practical knowledge, he is very competent when it comes to understanding how the body works and moves, how to train for your goals, and how to best get you on the right path for change.
Some examples of Diego's favourite expriences at Camosun would be helping run a fitness assessment clinic for older adults, working on case studies associated with a variety of chronic illness, a presentation on exercising with Parkinson's, and writing a paper on how exercise benefits those with heart failure.
Diego has a specific interest in supporting patients with chronic illness and has been trained in Pneumatic pump compression therapy by Paradigm Medical, the only Canadian Pneumatic Pump Distributor approved by Health Canada, under the clinical counsel and direction of Right Fit Clinic.
In the future Diego plans to become a physiotherapist as this has been a passion of his for many years.
The reason physiotherapy is such a large passion is due to how sport and keeping active have positively influenced his life in so many different ways and he would like to see people reap the same benefits that he has been fortunate to experience.

Debbie Roper, Licensed Practical Nurse, North Island College, 2012-2014.
Debbie first became aware of foot care nursing during her practicum at the local hospital and realized how crucial this type of healthcare was. After graduation, she worked in the community as a LPN and came across several clients needing foot care.
Many patients were also dealing with complications due to diabetes and other chronic conditions that lead to other serious issues like neuropathy, skin breakdown, and infections. This is when she realized she wanted to further her education to provide foot care full time. She has focused her career as a Foot Care Nurse on Vancouver Island since 2017 and has been a sole proprietor since 2018.
She completed The Art & Science of Burring levels I and II in 2018/2019, which has been beneficial to her practice. She also enjoys working one-on-one with clients who face challenges maintaining their own foot care needs. During visits, she assesses, treats, and manages various foot health issues such as:
- Reduction of calluses, thick and/or fungal nails
- Reduction or removal of corns
- Ingrown nail issues depending on severity
- Application of moisturizer at the end of treatment
- Creates an Individualized Care Plan
- Recommendations regarding footwear, diabetic issues, and other areas of concern as needed
- Referrals to other healthcare professionals may be needed to help with continuity of care
She is a member in good standing with the BC College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCN&M) and a member of South Island Foot Care Nursing Associate (SINFA).

Alli graduated from the University of Victoria, Canada with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology in December 2020. She is also certified in Soft Tissue Release.
Alli has a passion for proactive healthcare and assisting individuals integrating exercise into their daily lives. She loves watching her clients overcome their symptoms and return to the daily activities they love.
Her main focus for rehabilitation includes exercise prescription alongside mind-body techniques to help clients take control of their pain and learn to love movement again.
She describes Kinesiology like “if a personal trainer and physiotherapist had a child. Kinesiologists don’t do as much hands on therapy as physios, but have more medical knowledge than personal trainers.”
Your first session would include a physical examination followed by coaching and exercise prescription. Think Kinesiology might be a good fit for you? Send your inquiries to atkinesiology@gmail.com.
Outside of work, Alli likes to read, bake, hang out with friends, and exercise.
